Pali Wine Co. Celebrates One Year Anniversary at DTLA Location

Sunny Sunday afternoons were made for good food, good friends and even better wine! At Pali Wine Co., we got all three.

Pali Wine Co. was created in 2005 and has since grown into one of California’s premier wineries, producing over 50 types of wine with 5 tasting rooms in Southern California, including Santa Barbara, Lompoc, San Diego, Anaheim, and the newest, in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles.

Each tasting room brings an authentic winery experience to the neighborhood while collaborating with local artists, performers, and restaurants to create a unique neighborhood tasting room where you can experience wine as if you were in wine country.

For the one-year anniversary at its LA Art’s District location, Pali Wine Co. partnered with local favorite, Porto’s (Yes, THAT Porto’s), pairing favorites like their famous Potato Balls with 2017 Summit Pinot Noir, Pulled Pork and Guava with 2017 Pinot Grigio (my absolute fav!), and Medianoche paired with a Pali Estate Rose.

We should also mention that Porto’s gave us a sneak peek at some upcoming dishes: a new faro salad, a pasta salad with arugula pesto, and a crazy good arroz con pollo ball, a new addition to their iconic Potato Balls. Hopefully, they will be on the menu at Porto’s very soon, until then Pali Wine Co. does have a few Porto’s items on their menu, along with other small plates including a cheese tray & charcuterie board.

We love supporting local businesses, like Porto’s, and now Pali Wine Co. is a welcomed addition to a thriving Downtown Los Angeles.

During your next visit, you should definitely try their Tap Wines…yup, straight from the barrel. It’s a great way to stay fresh this summer!
