Choose the Right Cut: Flank steak or skirt steak is ideal for carne asada due to their texture and flavor.
Marinate Longer: For the best results, marinate the beef overnight to ensure it absorbs all the delicious flavors.
Grill Hot and Fast: Cooking over high heat gives the meat a nice char while keeping it tender and juicy inside.
Rest Before Slicing: Allowing the meat to rest before slicing helps retain its juices and makes for a more flavorful dish.

What to Serve with Your Carne Asada.

Carne asada pairs perfectly with a variety of Mexican sides such as grilled corn, Mexican rice, frijoles charros, corn or flour tortillas, and you can’t forget a good salsa and cold cerveza.

  1. Your carne asada recipe does not have how many pounds of meat. Can you please tell me how much meat do you use for this recipe. Thank you

    1. I see what you mean. The recipe is for the marinade. It would be good to give a suggestion on how much this marinade will cover in terms of pounds of meat. I’d say easily 5 to 8 pounds of beef.
